Corona Virus – COVID19: September Update

Notice to all customers.

Although we are not yet back to normal, we are able to offer some of our services and activities.  Please do get in touch if you would like to use us as a venue and we will try and see if between us we can make your proposed activity Covid Secure and able to go ahead within our current levels of operation.

Please do not attend the site if you are showing symptoms, specifically:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Scouts & Guides – Please ensure that you follow instructions from Head Quarters regarding Readiness Levels. It is unlikely that we can hold residential for some time, but we will look to support programs where possible, take a look at our summer activities offer.  You may well need to contact us regarding bookings, please do so via email.We will honour all deposit payments and transfer these to a future booking for you.
Schools and D-of-E – Where Residential are allowed under regulations from schools we may be able to help.  We have a designated D of E camping area for AAPs looking to offer camping in the Peak.  Please see our D of E camping page for more information – we could take upto 3 pods of 6 at this time.
Other Organisations – Please refer to your own Organisation or Head Office for advice but we currently are still open or we will happily move your deposit to a new date if required.
Courses & Events – We are watching the situation closely and making decisions on each course or event on an individual basis. It is likely that most of the imminent courses will get re-scheduled but we are contacting people booked onto those on an individual basis to keep them updated.
